Each head is removed from the base. Solid styrofoam blocks are compressed and wedged under the arm to prevent breakage
from downward pressure.
Accessories are secured to prevent movement either inside the base compartment or wrapped seperately in styromfoam and
labeled as PARTS.
The lid is wrapped to prevent water damage and securely taped to add additional support.
Everything is packaged into one carton. Liberal use of floor grade styrofoam ensures that the items do not move during
shipping.

The whole machine is enveloped in 2" styrofoam after removing the handcrank, bobbin winder ect. (If they can be removed
and/or easily replaced by the buyer).
Base if removed from machine, is wrapped to prevent water damage and taped to provide added strengh against
breakage.

| BOX LINED WITH 2" STYROFOAM |
The box is lined with 1-2" styrofoam depending on the size of the machine. This helps prevent punctures to the box from
reaching the machine. I also adds additional padding to the machine and case.
For additional safety, Any voids in the packing are filled with styrofoam peanuts. A final layer of styrofoam is placed
ontop to protect the machine.
All 4 sides are marked with an arrow pointing upwards and UP underneath. All 4 sides and top are marked with FRAGILE.
Address labels are printed and completely covered with clear tape to prevent water damage and running of the ink if the package
is allowed to get wet during shipment.

The machine head is placed on a 2" styrofoam block and tightly wrapped and taped to hold all styrofoam tight againt
the machine and to protect the machine should the package get wet in transit. ( At no time will any adhesive tape touch the
machine)

| CASE SUPPORTED INTERNALLY |
The inside of the lid is supported by styrofoam. This is to prevent crushing damage if dropped.
The machine head, base and lid are wedged into the box by additional layers of styrofoam. Styrofoam is packed securely
enough to restrict any movement of the machine.
